When I saw the very first website in 1995, I knew my future was sealed.

It was a GOTCHA moment. I had visited the Louvre museum online and thought this was the most amazing thing I had ever seen! I said, "I want to do THIS--I want to be a web designer!" I began collecting graphics wherever I could find them and I stumbled across this fine little animation. It was created by Steve Bennett, aka Karma Storm, in 1996. I contacted him to get permission to use it in my work and he generously agreed.

I was so inspired by what Steve had accomplished in animation while dealing with personal struggles. I knew I, too, faced an uphill struggle to learn web design. I learned everything I could on my own and with a little help from my friends. And over the years of constant application, layer upon layer of skills accumulated, I discovered in myself the web designer and graphic artist I am today. I found I could consistently capture the essence of my client's vision and needs with my camera and my graphic expertise. A steady evolution focused on three passions:

• for creating a web presence with a pulse
• for photography
• for providing unbeatable down home customer service

Today WynkSystems has grown into a Ventures, LLC with my husband, Noel Susskind. We partner in many endeavors and work independently as well under our LLC. We also live on a farm and raise miniature horses, which makes us available and accessible to all of our clients.

Here is a tribute animation I dedicate to Steve Bennett, who helped start me on this artistic trail. His original mask animation is to the left. It was just recently that I found an actual photograph of this very mask. With a few of my own personal touches -- Voila! -- my own recreation of Steve's mask.
